Ziwei is the Polaris of the chart: dignity, standards, and the work of choosing. Brightness and company change it.
The emperor star is a job
Ziwei in the life palace often describes someone who feels responsible for the standard of a room. That can be taste, leadership, or a private refusal to do things carelessly. It is not a promise of rank.
In the sample KinCode report, Ziwei shares the life palace with Tanlang. The archetype name “Polaris” comes from Ziwei when it is present, because the rule treats it as the title star.
You still need the whole palace
Brightness, the four transformations, and the stars sitting beside Ziwei decide whether the dignity is supported or lonely. iztro’s default transformation table, the 全書 version, is what KinCode uses. A page about the star cannot see your transformations.
The life palace also needs a birth time. If you do not know it, the simplified report leaves Zi Wei uncharted rather than inventing a palace.
